For families visiting for the summer or requiring longer term care, we provide a Nanny and Mother's Helper finding service. Because or the special nature of these positions, we require extensive screening of candidates and families to ensure a perfect match. There is a one time agency placement fee for part time and full time nannies.
Candidate Qualifications: All of our Nannies and Mother's Helpers love children and have made a commitment to excellence. We look for Nannies and Mother's Helpers that can provide a safe and nurturing environment that stimulates creativity and self-esteem. Our screening process includes national, state, and county b ackground checks, social security and past address history screening, and driving record checks. We have an extensive interview process and include personal and professional reference checks. All candidates are also required to be certified in CPR/First Aid.
Duties: Our Nanny and Mother's Helpers are first and foremost responsible for the delivery of quality child care. Secondarily, they have the tasks of light housekeeping and family errands. Light housekeeping generally consists of those tasks revolving around the care of young children and may include laundry, light cooking of children's meals, general upkeep of play areas, grocery shopping, and other tasks mutually agreed upon between the family and Nanny. We have found that the best interests of the children are served when household tasks are secondary to child care responsibilities.
Salaries: Salaries usually range from $400 - $700 per week depending on experience of employee.
